When does the «Guardians of the Galaxy 2» movie come out in theaters? What is known about the sequel? We neea the second part!

After the premiere of «Guardians of the Galaxy» movie the viewers immediately began to ask about its continuation. This is not surprising, as the TV-project appeared to be interesting and got a huge box office.

The rights holders announced about the creation of the second part as well as Nicole Perlman, the co-screenwriter, confirmed the rumors concerning James Gunn’s appointment to the position of screenwriter and director.

Gunn said he would be glad to participate in sequel production and also added he hoped to explore more about Quill’s father, Yondu, Drax and Nebula, as well as expand on Xandarian, Kree, Krylorian and Ravager culture.

During Comic-Con 2014 the rights holders announced the release date of «Guardians of the Galaxy 2» to be scheduled for May 5, 2017. Of course, three years of waiting can weaken the excitement about the given franchise, but the promise of Marvel to add one more Guardian from the comics to this story and to make the crossover with the Avengers should not allow the emotions subside, shouldn’t it?
