When does Lip Sync Battle season 2 premiere? The series has been renewed for a second season! We are waiting for the start date in 2016 on Spike!

Right after a couple of episodes of Lip Sync Battle show it became clear that the project won’t end after the first season.

The President of Spike, Kevin Kay, noted that the given television series became most-watched original series in network history, which simply forced the rights holders find the resources to renew it for Season 2.

The official renewal of the show took place after its 4th episode, as the rating let the creators make such a rapid decision. In the same period the premiere date of the new episodes has been determined – January 2016.

The rights holders aren’t ready to announce more exact terms of show return yet, but we will be following the Spike announcements and publish the official data on this page.

UPDATE 1 (Oct. 22, 2015): Although the series doesn’t return for Season 2 until January, a holiday special will air November 19, 2015 (Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anthony Mackie…).

UPDATE 2 (Jan. 19, 2016): The series was renewed for a third season.
