Will there be Rectify season 5? Are you waiting for the release on SundanceTV in 2017? We want to know the premiere date for the new episodes!

Unfortunately, we will not watch the season 5 of the series Rectify on SundanceTV in 2017. The representatives of the channel have officially confirmed the cancellation of the show after the fourth season, and thus have not included the project in the air in 2017.

This decision disappointed not only the fans of the project, but also the creator Ray McKinnon: «… there no perfect ‘end’ for this story not for these characters.». According to him, it is too early to close this project, but unfortunately, the decision is made, and it is unlikely to be changed.

The lives of the main characters did not end, said Ray, «We just will not document them any longer».

Of course, it is difficult to realize that the release date of the fifth season will not be announced, but always it is at least a small chance that the story will be continued by another channel or network.

Can the project Rectify get such a chance, and does it deserve?
