Bad news for fans of dog Wilfred: the rights holders decided to close the project, having ordered the final fourth season. So respectively, season 5 shouldn’t be expected. The first of 10 new episodes will debut in 2014 but now the show is to be broadcast by FXX, which attracts younger audience.

The reason for show closing lies in its low ratings. According to the statistics, Season 3 drew only 650 thousand viewers, while the second season had attracted approximately 0.96 million.

Is it necessary to shoot Season 5?
