Will Marco Polo show renewed for a season 2? We are waiting for the start air date on Netflix in 2015! When does the new episodes premiere?

As it was expected, «Marco Polo» television series, which had debuted in December 2014, received a great army of the fans not only in the USA, but also all around the world. The TV viewers should thank for this to Netflix, which has bought the rights from Starz and managed to continue filming, started back in 2012.

It is known, that 10 episodes of the first season cost $90 million, but the money wasn’t spent in vain, both experts and fans believe. At the moment the season 2 of «Marco Polo» show is being discussed (UPDATE 1) and we will hope the rights holders will take the right decision and the start air date of the continuation will be announced.

UPDATE 1 (Jan.7, 2015): Good news! Marco Polo was renewed by Netflix for a 10 episode second season.

UPDATE 2 (November, 2015): It was planned that the season 2 of Marco Polo would premiere on December 2015 but the release date was postponed to 2016.

UPDATE 3 (December 26, 2015): The christmas special featurette One Hundred Eyes, revealed the second season premiere date to be Summer 2016.

UPDATE 4 (April 11, 2016): Netflix has announced that Season 2 of the Marco Polo series will release globally on July 1. What about Marco Polo season 3 release date?
