Mike & Molly season 6: start date (2016)

Mike and Molly has been renewed for the 2015-2016 season. When will the new episodes be released on CBS? What about the start air date?

Late start of season 5 of «Mike & Molly» show gave rise to the discussion concerning the imminent completion of the TV-project despite its positive rating. The rights holders decided to dispel all doubts concerning the renewal of the show and on March 12 officially renewed it for season 6.

The start date of the new episodes is scheduled for early 2016 (UPDATE 1). It should be noted that preliminarily the information about the renewal ordering appeared on Instagram, but later the given post was deleted.

Let’s hope that in the next season the show won’t lose its fans, whose amount comprises 9 million people at the moment.

UPDATE 1 (Nov.30, 2015): Mike & Molly will open Season 6 on January 6, 2016 at 8:30 pm.

UPDATE 2 (Dec.13, 2015): “This is the final season of Mike & Molly on CBS” – Rondi Reed.

UPDATE 3 (January 12, 2016): CBS confirmed that Mike & Molly‘s current sixth season will indeed be its last.

UPDATE 4 (March 16, 2016): The show will resume its sixth season on April 25, 2016 (at 8/7c). CBS officially announced that the series will not be renewed for Season 7.
