Will The Slap be renewed or cancelled? When does season 2 start on NBC? We are waiting for the premiere air date in 2015/2016!

The number of fans of «The Slap» television show comprises more than 3 million people at the moment, but is it enough for the possible Season 2 discussion?

It should be mentioned, that this TV-project is positioned as miniseries, comprising eight episodes and is an adaptation of the Australian series of the same name. In 2011 in Austria the viewers also enjoyed 8 episodes on the basis of «The Slap» story, written by Christos Tsiolkas, that’s why there is no sense to wait for the premiere date of the new episodes in the USA.
