Sword art Online season 3: release date

When will Sword art Online season 3 come out? Will anime series have the new episodes in 2015-2016? The release date of third season still unknown!

Many discussions appeared on the Internet after the completion of the second season of «Sword art Online» television series. The fans have different opinions concerning the renewal of the project for season 3, but the majority expects to see the continuation.
Critics believe the plot has already gone beyond the declared genre, thereby changing its target age audience. According to them, this fact could have a negative impact on the profitability of the anime series and will cause a lot of questions from advertisers and distribution companies.
Officials at the moment do not publish the information about the release date of season 3, because its fate is now in question.
A-1 Pictures representatives haven’t given any comments yet, and Tomohiko Itō, the director, keeps working on the other manga adaptations. Obviously, season 3 of «Sword art Online» will be created, but not in 2015.

dude they are making season 3 I work with funimation I voice acting for klien for season two eng dub and I heard that when season 3 comes out it will be right before new years as a new years sword art online party or whatever but they are planning the most bad*ss season of all and im not kidding XD I saw the first episode’s first ten mins as they let us get a sneak peak and holy cr*p the bad*ss feels are real bro just real

Stop fvcking lying anyways it’s not even confirmed?First off they don’t fvcking go like “hey we dont got it plan so lets just wing it for the first episode” the animation+ideas kind of take time to develop and the funds you aren’t even Klein you spell his name wrong as well..I can think of many ways how you are not Klein first off you can’t get a sneak peak unless you work as there voice actor and i’m sure the real Klein doesn’t freaking name himself animekid… and animator the voice actors gets to see it after the animator has finished

Number one rated anime? I liked the 1st season better. The 2nd season even I was able to see the shitty plotholes. Also stupid Harem garbage!

they already do exist just not at the level of tech the nerve gears are at they are called the oculus rift. in due time it will proceed to the heights of the nervegear . Just hope no one is crazy enough to be like akihiko kayaba

its the same concept but they dont work the same way. nervgear taps into your bodies nervous system, while the oculus rift shows you a display, using a gyroscope or infrared mechanism. you still use you body in the process with the oculus, but when the nervgear is connected, your nervous systems impulses are sent to the nervgear instead of to you brain.

wtf why would there not be asuna , the whole first season was dedicated to asuna and kirito’s love …. and the second half of the first season was dedicated to her, and the second half of the second season was dedicated to her and yuki.

This my favorite anime of all time. It is actually the ONLY anime I have EVER watched in sub. Why? b/c I HATE READING…but b/c the anime is so good, honestly reading the subs does’t even feel like reading for this anime. if it doesn’t continue, then me and ALOT of others will be heartbroken.

There needs to be a Sword Art Online 3. It has left permanent markings on me because it was so successful. I believe creating a third season would be a smart idea on improving the companies publicity.

Well, supposedly there will be a season 3 from the ending of 2 feeling like there should be more of it. Season 1 was made in 2012, and season 2 was made towards the end of 2014. Seeing that, the anime could be made towards the end of 2016. If there were more episodes, of more work on the episodes it could even be to 2017.. of course this is just an assumption, and I have no idea about it, but if I could guess, this would make the most sense.

This is one of those anime that are just very well done story wise. And as long as it continues to flow smoothly as it has, there should be no concern for a loss of marketable fanbase. This show has constantly delivered action, drama, romance, comedy, fantasy, and sci fi all perfectly wrapped together. It is a very well made and written series that I hope will be around for a very long time and will hopefully become an iconic example of what an excellent anime should be.

My god don’t you guys read???? ^^^ look up there and READ the summary. The season three of sword art online is at a deadline at the moment but most likely will be coming out next year 2016. Not in 2015. Because the critics are judging how the author went beyond what was needed in the plot,there was a twist. And rn there is no in definite date,except that it won’t come out this year.~Keep reading if u want to know the twist in why the date was pushed back~
I think the twist in the plot was that Zekken in season two,turned out to be a female and that changed a bunch of plans for Kirito And made all the new plans for Asuna. As you can see in the season two opening (Mother’s Rosario) Asuna is in there but no one else like Kirito,Liz,or Klein. Asuna was picked by Zekken during their duel

guys if you actually payed attention to the series or the light novel it continues on very much. in GGO Zaza says this isn’t over and kirito mentions that theres a big possiblilty that there are more death guns on the loose. plus in the novel there is a new virtual world but this time its created by kirito and team which leaves a lot of room for story development and make it one hell of a series like once before. I’m pretty sure just because a few critics saying theres some plotholes doesn’t mean there gonna discontinue the anime.

Plz bring SAO back for a third season! I have to admit that I’m a fan of SAO just as much as I was a fan of Bleach! Can’t wait to see where they go from here. I just wish they would dive deeper into some character back grounds. Love the concept and hope Season 3 comes out soon.

I really, really want for there to be a season 3!!!!! Ever since I saw it on Netflix I was like Yasssssssssss. Kirito and Asuna forever!!!!!!!!!! The people who are deciding whether or not there will be a season 3, should go on wattpad and see how many people have made Kirito x readers and Asuna x readers!!!!! please make a new season!!!!! in my opinion i fell as if there should be more fighting and less harem ish things i also feel as if there should be no fighting but when they do fight cool thats why they made more epics fights instead of putting more fights and more epic action. i think they put more harem scenes because they were running out of idead or maybe they wanted to save that for season 3 this is my opinion i hope you agree if not sorry and say this fast have a good one (:

It seems we kind screw at this point… 2015 is gone no news about 3season and we r over half of 2016 and nothing… I hope they do it at the end of 2016 atless I really like this anime maybe one day we will have the same chance of appreciate virtual world as they show in the anime and I think a lot of u reading this feel the same and identifies w the anime for the same reason… Let hope to see the new season for the end of 2016 🙂
